No-Bake Cherry Vanilla Protein Bars

These no-bake protein bars from Hummusapien are ideal as either a portable breakfast or a post-workout recovery snack. With dried cherries and pure maple syrup for natural sweetness it’s hard to believe these fiber-rich bars have no added sugar.

Ingredients for servings

    No-Bake Cherry Vanilla Protein Bars

  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats

  • 0.33333333333 cup flaxseed, ground

  • 0.33333333333 cup unsweetened shredded coconut

  • 3 scoops vanilla plant-based protein powder will not work

  • 0.5 cup almond butter

  • 0.25 cup pure maple syrup

  • 1 tablespoon almond milk

  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract

  • 0.33333333333 cup dried cherries or cranberries


  • Line a loaf pan with parchment paper. Set aside.

  • Place oats, ground flax, coconut and protein powder in a blender or food processor. Blend until mixture resembles a powder.

  • Dump dry mixture into a medium mixing bowl. Add almond butter, maple syrup, almond milk and vanilla, stirring until well combined, using hands if necessary. Fold in dried cherries.

  • Transfer mixture to lined loaf pan. Press firmly using your fingers until it’s completely flat and smooth. Freeze at least 30 minutes before slicing into 10 bars.

  • Store in the fridge or freezer.
