Ingredients for servings

    Banana Nut Pancakes

  • 1.5 cup whole-wheat flour

  • 1.5 tablespoon sugar

  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 0.5 teaspoon salt

  • 2 large eggs beaten

  • 3 tablespoon cooking oil plus more for greasing

  • 3 medium ripe bananas mashed

  • 1 cup plain yogurt

  • 1 cup honey

  • 0.25 cup crushed walnuts

  • 2 medium banana sliced (optional)

Directions

    In a bowl, mix dry ingredients

    • flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

    In another bowl, mix wet ingredients

    • eggs, oil and ripe bananas.

  • Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients.

  • Heat a nonstick pan over medium heat. Lightly grease with oil. Pour batter onto heated surface, and cook on each side until golden brown.

  • While pancakes are cooking, mix together yogurt and honey. Once done, drizzle pancakes with honey yogurt. Top with banana slices and walnuts.
